I’m Maik, a mixing engineer and musician from the Netherlands. I turn raw tracks into polished, punchy mixes that bring out clarity, depth, and energy. With live sound and studio experience, I know how to keep your music impactful and balanced, ready to shine on any stage or platform.

I’m Maik, a mixing engineer, live sound technician, and musician from the Netherlands. My journey started as a drummer, but over the years I also picked up guitar, bagpipes, and other instruments. Performing with these on different stages gave me a real understanding of music from both the player’s and the listener’s perspective.

After studying music I combined my passion for performing with audio engineering. Whether I’m working live or in the studio, my focus is always on creating mixes that capture emotion and deliver clarity, punch and balance. Every instrument deserves its own space, every vocal should feel alive, and the energy of the performance has to come through.

Because I have experience both on stage and behind the console I know how songs need to translate in every situation: from earbuds to car stereos, from small clubs to big festivals. I mix with technical precision but also with the ear of a musician, so your music sounds polished without losing its unique character.

I enjoy working remotely with artists from many genres and I love collaborating to bring songs to life. Whether it’s a single, an EP or a full album, I can help make your music sound powerful, balanced and ready for release.
