Like most engineers, I started out recording/mixing rap and hip-hop in my basement—cramped space and questionable acoustics. Fast forward a few years, I’m now an in-house engineer at a local commercial studio, No Fun Club, a world-class facility where I learned the ins and outs of the analogue world, just so that I can put 0 Retune speed on your Neve recorded vocals.
Jokes aside, I’ve mixed projects from R&B and pop to country, and soft rock. I'm not picky with the number of revisions, as long as we're both happy with the finished results. Let's have fun with this.
