Interview with Robert Evans
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started my career in the U.S. doing sync work for shows like The Bachelor and Life Below Zero. From there, I moved to Spain, where I spent several years producing and mixing for both signed artists and indie talent, while also building a strong network in the industry. That time gave me the chance to collaborate on a wide range of projects and refine my skills across genres. Now I’m back home, continuing to grow my work and bringing that international experience into every project I take on.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with Bryant Barnes. I really connect with his blend of R&B and pop infused with live strings. That cinematic feel is something I enjoy bringing out in mixes!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My biggest strength is vocal work. From tuning, comping, alignment, and mixing, I make sure the voice always shines as the centerpiece of the song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a collaborative mindset. I listen to the artist’s vision and shape the mix so the track not only sounds professional but also feels authentic to who they are.
