Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm a 10 year veteran and have worked on everything from small - festival level shorts to large theatrical releases.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Experience in all levels of post-production.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I begin by filling in the film with the necessary elements, from cleaning dialogue (removing reverbs and unwanted background noise), adding in foley and fx where needed, laying down backgrounds to blend the dialogue together, and then mixing everything together to provide a high quality product.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Full 5.1 surround sound setup at home using Pro Tools. Plugins include Fabfilter, Izotope, McDS Dialogue Processor, SoundToys, and various others.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically a full sound package including 5.1 surround sound mix with stereo fold down, dialogue editorial and clean up, background fx editorial, and depending on project - foley mix/edit, fx edit, and sound design.
