My name is Alessandro Dri, and I am a drummer and drum teacher with over twenty years of experience. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with various artists and bands, both in live performances and studio recordings. I am proficient in a wide range of genres, including Blues, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Funk, and Electro.
At my studio, I am dedicated to music production, recording sessions, and composition. I possess the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality drum tracks for your projects.   1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I'm recording the upcoming Ep of my project: Revolt.

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: They would be three: kick, snare and hi hat!

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I have been teaching drums for more than twenty years and have been collaborating with various artists and bands in my career. Live and in the studio I am comfortable with Blues, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Funk and Electro (play acoustically).

  7. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  8. A: Sting

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: Listen carefully the song, get inspired by the lyrics or the other instruments. Put yourself in!

  11. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  12. A: Pop, Blues, Electro.

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: My creativity, personal taste without loosing the writer's goal.

  15. Q: What's your typical work process?

  16. A: When I receive the files I start thinking about what arrangement can be used for the song. Later I can send a preview of my idea and start the most important part that is the dialogue with the author. The main goal is to satisfy the author to have a great song! In the end I go on with the final recording, I can provide more versions to choose from.

  17. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  18. A: I play mainly Ds Drum (Italian handcraft drums), Murat Diril cymbals, Evo drumsticks. I use Shure, Audix and Beyerdynamic mics.

  19. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  20. A: Benny Greb, Mark Guiliana, Richard Spaven, Steve Jordan.

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: My creativity and groove.
