Hi there, my name is Linus I am a Producer, Mix and Mastering engineer with a degree in Sound Technology from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute For The Performing Arts I have an abundance of experience working in a full studio and remote environments in a range of genres such as: indie-pop, indie, folk, folk-pop, dream-pop, shoegaze, and more!

Hello my name is Linus, I am a Producer, Mix and Mastering engineer based in Liverpool UK. I have always had a passion for music and recording and have dreamed of working on projects just like yours since I was very young. It has always brought me great fulfilment to bring someone's musical visions to life, so I would love to work with you on building, mixing, and mastering your tracks. I have studied music and sound technology throughout my schooling career. I am so excited to work with you to make your vision come to life, and get your tracks release ready.
I am flexible to work remote or in studio on your tracks - to get the best result tailored to you.

Interview with Linus Westwood

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I have been producing in a way for most of my life, I have gone from recording myself playing guitar into GarageBand when I was younger to studying Sound Technology at multiple levels and now working with clients to make great music

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: I have worked on a wide range of genres from Folky indie to singer songwriters to dream pop, recently I have been working in the studio on a Christmas pop-punk album

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: most of the time, I work from my home studio setup, in which I am equipped to record, produce mix and master. I own a range of industry standard plugins. I work in both Logic Pro and Pro Tools when I am working from the studio, I work with multiple different large format analogue mixing consoles (SSL, Neve and Audient) and a collection of outboard processors (Bricasti M5, UA 1176, Empirical Labs Distressor to name a few)
