Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I worked on a full-production Rock/Pop track where I served as both the lead vocalist and session guitarist, as well as performing all post-production vocal editing. The project required delivering dynamic lead vocals alongside tight acoustic and electric rhythm tracks. I comped the best vocal takes, manually tuned them note-by-note in Melodyne, and aligned all multi-track guitar stems. Hearing the final mix come together with seamless, radio-ready precision while keeping the raw emotion intact made it a standout project I’m incredibly proud of.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I am currently tracking lead and backing vocals for several remote client projects across Pop and Rock genres, as well as tracking acoustic/electric guitars and performing custom Melodyne vocal tuning sessions.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. I love the warm, organic character of analog gear like miking up a real Marshall amp or tracking natural vocals, but the speed, recall, and precision of digital tools like Melodyne and Logic Pro X give clients the absolute best of both worlds. But I like digital when I am touring, as it's so much easier to carry and change your sound.

A: Bringing a songwriter's vision to life. Whether it's adding expressive lead vocals to an emotional track or laying down tight guitar riffs, turning an initial idea into a polished, radio-ready record never gets old.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: "Can you provide dry stems for my mixer?" Yes, I always deliver clean, high-resolution dry WAV stems alongside tuning and alignment, ensuring seamless integration into any mix.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That vocal tuning always sounds robotic. When done manually with Melodyne note-by-note, pitch correction preserves the natural timbre, micro-dynamics, and emotion of a performance while making it sound radio-ready.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is the song's BPM and key? Do you have reference tracks for the vocal tone or guitar style you want? Do you prefer clean dry WAV stems for your own mix, or processed tracks?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Provide clear reference tracks, the song BPM, key, and a guide vocal track if possible. Communicating the exact vibe and vision upfront ensures we hit the mark on the very first take.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: A high-quality acoustic guitar, a studio condenser microphone, my laptop running Logic Pro X, a Focusrite Scarlett interface, and a solid pair of studio headphones.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I hold a degree in Music Technology & Recording and have years of studio and live performance experience as a lead vocalist and session guitarist. I’ve spent over a decade refining my vocal technique, stage presence, and editing skills to deliver top-tier, professional audio.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Powerful, expressive, and grounded. My vocals combine emotional clarity with stage-tested energy, complemented by tight, organic acoustic and heavy electric guitar tracking.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Chris Martin or James Hetfield. Both are master songwriters who demonstrate incredible vocal phrasing and stage presence, combining emotional resonance with commanding dynamic power.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Perform manual vocal pitch correction in Melodyne rather than relying on automatic auto-tune. Editing note transitions individually preserves the natural timbre, micro-vibrato, and raw emotion of the performance while achieving pristine, radio-ready tuning.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Primarily Rock, Pop, Country, and Acoustic tracks, as well as Heavy Metal. For vocals, my style spans soft, emotional Pop/Country/Acoustic ballads up to driving Rock anthems. On guitar, I cover everything from clean acoustic picking to heavy, driving Metal rhythm and leads.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I start by thoroughly listening to your backing track, guideline, and reference tracks to understand the exact vibe and arrangement needed. For vocals, I track multiple dynamic takes, comp the best performance, and apply subtle manual Melodyne pitch and timing adjustments. For guitars, I dial in tailored tones—whether using my Line 6 Helix for modern, album-ready flex or my Marshall amp for classic analog punch—and double-track rhythms or build expressive lead lines. Before sending final high-resolution dry WAV stems (plus processed guitar stems if requested), I perform a full pass for noise cleanup, de-clicking, and phase alignment so everything drops right into your mix.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work in Logic Pro X paired with a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface and studio-grade microphones. For electric guitars, I use a Line 6 Helix for diverse, album-ready tones or my Marshall amp for classic analog punch, alongside high-quality acoustic guitars. For post-production, I rely on Celemony Melodyne, iZotope RX, and native Logic Pro tools.

A: I draw heavy inspiration from artists with powerful, dynamic vocal performances like Matt Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), James Hetfield (Metallica), and Chris Martin (Coldplay), as well as modern session vocalists and producers who focus on organic, emotional delivery

A: I specialize in tracking male lead and backing vocals for Rock, Pop, Country, and Acoustic tracks, as well as tracking acoustic and electric guitar parts. Additionally, I provide detailed vocal post-production, including manual pitch correction (Melodyne and Flex Pitch), time alignment, and audio cleanup to deliver mix-ready stems.
