Hi, I'm Roei Hermon, trumpeter, producer, composer, and arranger.

I specialize in recording premium-quality trumpet tracks for artists, producers, composers, and film scorers from my professional recording studio.

I was awarded a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music and regularly perform with renowned Israeli singer-songwriter Evyatar Banai. Over the years, I've recorded and performed with numerous artists across a wide range of musical styles.

Whether you need an expressive solo, a tight brass section, jazz improvisation, cinematic trumpet, or commercial horn parts, I deliver broadcast-quality recordings with attention to every musical detail.

As a producer and composer myself, I understand what a production needs and always aim to deliver tracks that fit naturally into the arrangement, making the recording process smooth, efficient, and inspiring.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Balkan Beat Box Brass Recordings! amazing band!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Ambient Trumpet only vibes...

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: you will feel your song became more exiting.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love creating original brass arrangements and getting the opportunity to play on new songs every day.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Question: How long will it take? Answer: Usually 1–3 business days.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many people think playing the trumpet requires a lot of air. In reality, it's much more about muscle control, how you use your tongue to produce the sound, and how the mouthpiece is positioned on your lips.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Ask them to send me the music and share their vision.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Trust me and feel free to say any thought you have.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Trumpet, Piano, Vibraphone, Flute, Shaker :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I playing the trumpet 28 years! I started to play the trumpet at the age of 9. Studied at Thelma Yellin high school for arts at the jazz department. Then got a full scholarship from Berklee College of music. Started to make my own music and others.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Indie, Expressive, TIght, Groovy, Africa.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Bjork!! I think we can make beautiful music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Record from the start. most od the times the first takes are the best!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Groove, Soul, Funk. Cinematic, Jazz, Ambeint.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Solos and Brass Section.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My special sound. I can be very soft and airy or super punchy and loud.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Understanding what the clients wants to hear. if it's improvisation part, I wiil ask for reference if they have one. If its a chart to read, print it and start recording.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Great acoustic, u49 mic with Neve 1073 preamp that goes to great fairchild clone. I also have Studer a810 if you want sound of a Reel to Reel Tape.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Classic Jazz Trumpeter.. Big Bands.. Africa Vibes
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Trumpet solos, Brass Section, Wild Improvisations.
