I produce modern, detailed records built around the artist's sound. From custom beats and full production to vocal mixing and mastering, I focus on creating polished, competitive music without losing the character that makes each artist unique. I work across Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Pop and Electronic music, including more experimental sounds.
I'm Lionflp, a music producer and mixing engineer focused on helping artists turn their ideas into finished records.
I specialize in custom production, beatmaking, vocal mixing, mixing and mastering. Whether you already have recorded vocals that need a professional mix, need a custom beat built around your style, or want someone to develop an entire song with you from the initial idea to the final master, I can handle the process.
My production style ranges from Hip-Hop, Trap and R&B to Pop, Electronic and experimental sounds. I care heavily about detail, dynamics, stereo placement, vocal clarity and creating a sound that fits the identity of the artist rather than forcing every song into the same formula.

Interview with Lionflp
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I'm especially proud of is OUT OF FOCUS, a collaborative EP involving several artists. I worked across production, mixing and creative direction, adapting each record to the artist while keeping the project cohesive. It represents the way I like to work: combining technical decisions with creativity and giving every song its own identity.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working on new productions, collaborations with independent artists and my own releases as Lionflp, while continuing to explore the intersection between urban and electronic music.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm still new to the SoundBetter community, so I haven't worked with enough providers here yet to confidently recommend someone. I'm looking forward to connecting and collaborating with other professionals on the platform.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. It gives me the speed, flexibility and recall I need for modern production. I still love the character associated with analog equipment, so I often use analog-inspired processing when the song benefits from it.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will treat your song as an individual project, not a preset. I'll listen to your vision, communicate clearly and make decisions based on what your music actually needs.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Hearing an idea turn into a finished record. I especially enjoy the moment when the artist hears a production or mix and realizes their original idea has become something bigger than they imagined.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "Can you make it sound like this reference?" Usually, yes, but I prefer using references as a direction rather than making a copy. The goal is to achieve a comparable level of impact while keeping the artist's own identity.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That production is just making a beat and mixing is just making everything sound louder or cleaner. Both are about decision-making. Arrangement, emotion, dynamics and knowing when not to process something can completely change a record.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you trying to achieve with the song? What are your references? What do you like and dislike about the current version? Do you have a deadline? For production work, I also ask about the intended mood, artist influences and how much creative freedom I have.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send me your references and tell me what you love about them, but also tell me what makes your own music different. I want to understand your identity instead of simply copying another record.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop with FL Studio, Edifier MR5 monitors, Sennheiser HD 599 headphones, a MIDI keyboard and a good audio interface. Give me those five and I can build, arrange and mix a complete record almost anywhere.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started producing music in 2023 and gradually expanded into mixing and working directly with artists. Since then, I've developed my sound through hundreds of projects, demos, beats and collaborations while continuously improving my production and engineering workflow.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern, detailed and genre-fluid. I like controlled low end, intentional stereo width, strong vocal presence and enough space for every important element to breathe. I often combine urban production with electronic and experimental influences.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with artists like Jennie, Lisa or other artists who combine pop, hip-hop and electronic influences. Those records leave a lot of room for detailed production, unusual sound design and genre experimentation.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't add processing just because you can. Make decisions based on what the song actually needs. Sometimes the best production or mixing decision is removing an element instead of adding another plugin.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mainly work on Hip-Hop, Trap, Reggaeton and Electronic music, but I enjoy combining genres. My productions can range from minimal and vocal-focused records to experimental tracks influenced by electronic music, K-pop and modern urban production.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is combining production and mixing. I can think creatively about the song while also thinking technically about balance, dynamics, stereo image and how every element works together.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Detail, energy and identity. I don't want every artist to sound the same. My goal is to understand what makes the song interesting and enhance it through production, arrangement, sound selection and mixing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the artist's vision, references and what they want the listener to feel. I then work on the production or mix while keeping the artist's identity intact. I prefer making creative decisions by ear first and using references when they help solve a specific problem. After the first delivery, I work with the artist through revisions until the record feels finished.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work primarily in FL Studio, monitoring through Edifier MR5 studio monitors and Sennheiser HD 599 headphones. My setup is focused on accurate monitoring and an efficient digital workflow with professional mixing and production tools.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by producers like Tainy, Bizarrap and Skrillex. I also take inspiration from modern K-pop production because of its attention to detail, creative arrangements and ability to combine different genres in one record.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually work with independent artists on custom production and mixing. I can build a beat around an artist's idea, develop the arrangement, guide the creative direction and mix the final vocals and instrumental into a polished record.
