Aerial Sound is a place for music to soar: a beyond-state-of-the-art studio for masterful mastering, vocal production, and mixing. The team at Aerial brings deep experience in all aspects of sound, and skills that bring listeners closer to the magic of the artist's performance. Located in the heart of Manhattan, in Jimi Hendrix's first studio space, Aerial Sound continues to provide excellence for artists of all backgrounds and genres.

The brainchild of mastering engineer Alan Silverman, Aerial Sound is the re-branding of his internationally recognized mastering studio, Arf! Mastering. This independent mastering studio has been a home to many Grammy-winning and nominated artists, garnering nods for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Engineered Album and more. Alan’s intricate knowledge and background in musical engineering and digital signal processing has given him a steady career working on audio for records, film and television, including credits with Yola, Watchhouse, MARO, The Velveteers, Keith Richards, Norah Jones, Medeski Martin & Wood, Judy Collins, Bebo Valdes, Arturo O’Farrill, Catherine Russell, Anais Reno, Aidan Bissett, and many others.
