Mix Master EDM Producer | Audio Editor | Mixing & Mastering | 15+ Years Experience | Radio-Ready Sound
With over 15 years of professional experience, I help artists, DJs, and producers achieve radio-ready, industry-standard sound across EDM, Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, House, and more.
As an EDM artist, I was mentioned 2nd place in the 2017 Deadmau5 Splice Remix Competition, demonstrating strong production quality. I have also collaborated with pop artists such as Neon Hitch and Grammy-nominated songwriters such as Hookman, which gives me deep insight into professional artist expectations and commercial-ready production standards.
One of the most overlooked but critical steps in achieving a professional sound is Audio Editing before Mixing & Mastering. Many tracks don't sound professional because:
• Vocals are not properly tuned
• Timing is not quantized
• Background noise is not cleaned
• Clicks and pops in recordings
• Mouth noises and breathing distractions
• Instruments not aligned properly
• Phase and timing inconsistencies
• Uneven vocal levels
If needed, before mixing and mastering, I can professionally edit your tracks to ensure maximum quality (seperate order)
As an artist myself, I understand the importance of your music and treat every project with care, precision, and creative attention.
Let's bring your music to the next level.

Interview with Ramin Bidar
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I’m especially proud of was receiving 2nd place in Deadmau5’s remix competition in 2017 for his track Let Go, featuring Grabbitz. This was a very meaningful milestone in my career as a dance music producer and helped validate my sound and creative direction early on. I focused on creating a remix that maintained the emotional depth of the original while adding modern energy, strong groove, and professional sound design. What made this achievement particularly special was competing among many talented producers and being recognized at such a high level. From there, my goal has been to continue contributing toward releasing music that emotionally connects with a wider audience, while maintaining a professional, polished sound that works both on the dance floor and across streaming platforms.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment, I’m working on a dance track featuring full song vocals designed for DJs to play in clubs and festivals. The vocals are very melodic, emotional, and commercial, while still maintaining strong Tech House and Techno energy.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I believe there are many talented professionals on SoundBetter, and it’s great that artists have access to a wide range of experienced engineers and producers. The best choice often depends on the artist’s genre, vision, and budget. That said, I always encourage clients to review providers carefully, listen to their samples, and choose someone who truly understands their artistic direction. Every project is unique, and finding the right creative fit is very important.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I believe there’s no right or wrong answer. Today, many professional tracks released on major labels are mixed and mastered entirely in the digital domain, and they still sound incredible. it comes down to experience, taste, and attention to detail. A well experienced engineer knows how to use modern digital tools to achieve warmth, clarity, and depth, delivering results that are fully competitive with traditional analog workflows.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to treat every project with the same care, attention, and professionalism that I give to my own music. As both a producer and artist, I understand how important each song is, and my goal is always to help you achieve the best possible version of your track. I will work closely with you, respect your vision, and do everything I can to elevate your music to a professional, release-ready level.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping artists bring their vision to life and hearing how a track evolves from an idea into a polished, professional release. There’s something very rewarding about taking a song and elevating its emotional impact, clarity, and energy so it connects more strongly with listeners. I also really enjoy the creative collaboration process. Working with different artists across genres keeps every project unique and inspiring.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: common question is “Can you match the sound of a reference track?” Yes, I always encourage clients to provide references, because it helps me better understand their vision, energy, and sonic direction. My goal is not to copy, but to capture a similar level of quality, impact, and professionalism. Clients also frequently ask “Do you offer revisions?” Yes, I offer unlimited revisions to make sure you're completely satisfied and that the final track meets your expectations.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: One of the biggest misconceptions about what I do is that mixing and mastering alone can fix everything. While mixing and mastering are very important, a professional-sounding track often starts much earlier with proper audio editing, tuning, and preparation. The same goes with Mastering, if the mix isn't clean and done properly your master won't sound right even with the best mastering studio/engineer in the world.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: First, I usually ask about the overall goal of the project. I also ask if they have reference tracks from artists they’d like their track to sound similar to. Reference tracks help me better understand the desired sound, energy, and overall direction. Another important question is about the current state of the project like whether they need full production, audio editing, mixing, mastering, or track finishing. This helps me determine the workflow and timeline.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice is to look for someone who not only has strong technical skills, but also understands your artistic vision. A great production or mix is not just about sound quality, it’s about enhancing the emotion and message of your song. Another important factor is communication and collaboration. Look for someone who listens to your references, understands your goals, and is willing to work with you through revisions to make sure the final result matches your expectations.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would focus on a portable but powerful setup that allows me to produce professionally from anywhere. 1) I would bring my Apple MacBook Pro (2023), since it’s the core of my entire production workflow and allows me to run all my DAWs, plugins, and production tools. 2) I’d bring my Universal Audio Apollo Twin X, which gives me high-quality audio conversion and access to Universal Audio UAD plugins for analog-style processing and professional sound. 3) I’d bring a reliable pair of studio headphones, such as my Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro, so I can accurately mix and edit even without studio monitors. 4) I’d bring a portable MIDI controller, like the Akai MPK Mini, which would allow me to create melodies, chords, and drum patterns easily. 5) I would bring a solar-powered generator, to power everything sustainably. With solar power, I could keep my entire setup running even in a remote location.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career in music production began after graduating as an Audio Engineer from SAE Institute in Dubai. U.A.E. in 2009. One of my early achievements was winning first place at the The Indie Gathering Film Scoring Festival in the United States, which was a major milestone in my career. This opportunity eventually led me to connect and collaborate with top songwriters from Motown Records, giving me valuable insight into professional songwriting and production at a high level. Following these experiences, I began focusing more on my own solo projects as an artist and producer, further developing my sound and production style. Over time, I expanded into working with artists across EDM, Pop, and Dance music, while continuing to refine my skills in audio engineering and production. I’ve now been working in music production and audio engineering for over 15 years, combining technical expertise with creative production to help artists achieve professional, radio-ready results.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would describe my style as a combination of Tech House and Techno, blending groove-driven rhythms with melodic, dark and emotional hypnotic elements. Overall, my style blends Tech House groove, Techno energy, and full vocal songwriting, creating modern dance music that is both powerful and emotionally engaging.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Tiësto and John Summit because many of their tracks feature full song vocals, which I believe adds a timeless and emotional element to dance music. While spoken or short vocal hooks are very popular in today’s dance music and can be very effective, full-length vocal songs often create a deeper emotional connection with listeners and tend to stand the test of time. Tracks built around strong songwriting, melodies, and full vocal arrangements often have more replay value and broader appeal.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One of the most important music production tips I can share is to focus on cleaning and tightening your tracks before mixing. Many producers jump straight into mixing, but professional-sounding tracks start with clean, well-edited audio. Removing clicks, pops, mouth noises, background noise, and properly tuning and quantizing vocals and instruments can dramatically improve the final result before any EQ or compression is applied.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work across a wide range of genres, with a strong focus on EDM, Pop, Dance and cinematic music. Overall, I enjoy working on a variety of genres and helping artists bring their music to a professional, polished, and emotionally impactful level.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is elevating a track to professional, radio-ready quality by combining detailed audio editing, emotional enhancement, and polished mixing and mastering. Ultimately, my strongest skill is taking a good idea and elevating it into a polished, professional release.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: When working on a song, my goal is to elevate the emotional impact while maintaining the artist’s original vision. I focus on bringing clarity, energy, and cohesion so the track connects more effectively with listeners. One of the key things I bring to a song is contrast and dynamics between sections. I make sure verses, choruses, drops, and breakdowns each have their own identity, allowing the song to build naturally and feel more engaging and impactful. This helps create tension and release, which is essential for a professional and emotionally compelling production.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First, I carefully review the project and discuss the client’s goals, references, and creative direction. Understanding the artist’s vision is very important to me, as I want the final result to reflect their unique sound and style. I check making sure I match their reference quality. I also offer unlimited revisions, so we can continue refining the track until you’re completely satisfied. My goal is to create a smooth, collaborative process and deliver a final product that sounds competitive with professional releases.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work on an Apple MacBook Pro (2023), paired with a Universal Audio Apollo Twin X audio interface, which allows me to achieve high-quality audio conversion and low-latency processing. I also use the full suite of Universal Audio UAD plugins and bundles, known for their analog-style processing and professional studio sound. I own KRK monitors, Izotope RX for professional audio editing, Melodyne, Vocalign and Revoice pro for vocal and instrument tuning. quantizing and aligning doubles and harmonies. I also own a Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro studio grade headphone for precise listening.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I grew up listening to Tiesto and Deadmau5 who combine technical excellence with strong musical identity. Their approach to production quality, songwriting, and strong melodies continue to inspire how I work on my own music and client projects at a professional level of production.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do professional audio editing, mixing, mastering, and full music production across EDM, Pop, Dance, and Hip-Hop. Many artists come to me with great ideas that need professional polishing. I always recommend to have references which gives me an idea of the direction you want to take with your sound.
