Music Producer/Audio Engineer

Since 2008, Chris Summers has invested, harvested and crafted his skill in music production and aims to match up towards the professionals in the music industry. After earning his BSc in Media Arts and Studies from Ohio University, he has went on to capitalize his strengths in online mixing and mastering, remixing and beat-making.

He specializes in various music genres primarily R&B, Hip Hop, Rock and Indie-Pop but has expanded on to EDM, Dubstep and Jazz music too. As a mastering engineer, he has mastered over 30 different projects ranging from albums to mixtapes and singles; and even founded his own record label (1SIDE Music Entertainment) at Ohio University to house most of these recordings. Even though he has found success in audio mastering as well as mixing and sound design collectively, he has worked in different recording studios and received quality training, education and development from established professionals such as Eddie Ashworth (mixing engineer for Sublime) and Jason "J" Rawls (producer for "Brown Skin Lady" by Talib Kweli and Mos Def).

Summers also gives back as a mentor to newer artists and has founded his own multimedia company, Doing Justice iShine LLC. Within Doing Justice iShine LLC, he offers services such as beat making, blogging, promotions and many more. His stage name DJ iShine, falls as an acronym for the company too.

As a young and talented musical entrepreneur, Summers aims to only deliver quality to his clients over a field of open communication and will ensure there is no room for giving up amongst his clients.
