Hello! My name is Carina Erlandsen. I am originally from Norway, but moved to London in 2014 to pursue my music. I just graduated with a Bmus (Hons) in Popular Music Vocal Performance from Bimm London. I am currently a freelance vocal coach/teacher as well as a freelance singer in weddings and funerals. Im part of a four-piece vocal group "Foreign Souls", which consists of individual musicians and friends making music as well as gigging around London.
I now want to do more solo work and are therefore looking for studio recording sessions and would love to collaborate with passionate producers and songwriters in London. I am openminded, ready to experiment and make some good music! I want to make a living out of my music. I am willing to work hard and put a lot of effort and time into the work.
Some of my greatest strengths as a singer are my vocal technique and wide range – which makes me a versatile artist. My main genres are Pop and Soul; (Soul-Pop, Electro-Pop, Indie-Pop, Neo-Soul, RnB-Soul), but I have experience with power ballads and gospel as well.
Some of my biggest inspirations throughout my years have been artists like Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston and Adele and the past few years I have fallen in love with talents like; JP Cooper, NAO, Gallant, Dua Lipa and Alessia Cara.
