New Space is a temple, a refuge for the experimental musician and home recordist who have moved past recording in their bedroom. Built around a love AND appreciation for live Analog recording as well as a quality digital backbone. This is not you're "Famous Friends" studio, this is State of the Art, it is an exploration of what we have lost in the last 25 years through an optimistic, prohoetic, and almost mystical lense. We want you to feel out there, like you are 100 miles away from society, while only being 10 minutes outside Manhattan. We specialize in long nights of cranking it out to tape and mixing off the board or patching into Pro Tools to take your session with you or print to mix later. Our modular mic preamp collection and microphone list is one of a kind, our instrument and amplifier selection is on a whole different level, everythings modded, everythings unique, and quite frankly our vibe is in unlike anything you have seen since the band tracked at Big Pink or Dylan did the basement tapes.
