Hey, I’m Darrell! I’m a session drummer, producer, mix engineer, and studio owner. I create pro drum tracks for artists and songwriters all over the world. Some of my favorite projects have been with members of Steely Dan, AC/DC, YES, The Moody Blues, and the Oprah Winfrey Network. I'm grateful every day to do what I do!

I won a Grammy in 2019 for the New Age Album, "Opium Moon". I have 40+ years experience playing on over 1000 movies, including Frozen 1 and 2, Moana, Black Panther, X-Men, Transformers and Batman. Countless TV episodes and records. I am both a session player and a live musician. I have performed with the LA Phil and many other local orchestras.

My professional record tracking/mixing career began at Wally Heider Recording SF 1971-75 to today.
