I love old school recording techniques, drums in big spaces captured with less microphones possible, recording on tape, I'm still convinced that the most important thing in a good recording is a good musician!
I have a passion for creating beats of all styles and have written and produced songs for a wide array of artists. Here are some of my credtis: Wycleaf Jean, Showtek, Starley, Moti, Yelawolf, Shinee, Simon Fuller's global pop act "Now United", Joe Walsh, Taylor Hawkins and The Coattail Riders, Hey Violet, Haley Kiyoko, and Juila Michaels.
I specialize in full production and beat programming, be it hip-hop, electronic, or going for organic, realistic programmed drums that nobody would ever think were programmed. I've done work for/with Jason Mraz, Talib Kweli, Killer Mike, Inspectah Deck, Killah Priest, Emancipator, CloZee, Champagne Drip, Sophie Barker of Zero 7, and more.
I guess my most impressive quality is that I'm still going. Not sure how I've managed to do it either, but I've had the pleasure of seeing the world many times over with indie bands and Grammy winners, and have been kicked around in studio by some of the best over the last 25 years..... and my phone still rings (suckers!). As a multi instrumentalist, I know the importance of instruments played together and their specific musical function in several styles, so a mix can "breathe" or the musical concept fits with the creative idea of the composer.
