'MESMERISING' **** - The London Times. I am a UK-based composer, producer, and sound artist known for creating emotionally rich, immersive music that blurs the boundaries between genres. I craft distinctive sonic journeys by blending instrumentation, atmospherics, and a strong sense of narrative.

I am a Vocalist/Multi-intrumentalist from Sacramento, Ca. I play Guitar (mainly rhythm and some lead)...I can play Bass (electric and upright)...I play piano, violin and most recently Pedal Steel and Banjo. I have been playing professionaly for over 10 years, I am a relativley younger guy (31.)

Worked with Grammy winner latin musicians, specialized in Latin, latin-jazz music. Also recorded rock, pop, Afro, grunge, jazz, hip hop, funk, blues, latin albums... I got the ability to adapt myself in any genre they ask me to play, thanks to my tours and life experiences around the world.

My music is usually described as weird and eccentric but that usually means it is sonically unique. My writing is synth heavy but tends to use parts of the orchestra to create hybrid scores. My music ranges from edgy aggressive synth scores to quirky orchestras with playful chiptune melodies but I'm not afraid to write beats and produce tracks.

As musicians ourselves, we know how you feel having to leave your project in someone elses hands. Zach Carlson a.k.a. Famous Friend is an ASCAP award-winning Los Angeles-based writer/producer/mixer. Zach has worked w artists such as Winnetka Bowling League, Casket Cassette, Nashon, and Alle the Dreamer as well as scoring the Emmy-Nominated Netflix show Alexa & Katie. Zach also has a successful indie solo project called Famous Friend.
