Born in the city of Lyon, France, in 1988, Lionel Metge alias Black Monk is a talented artist still unknown to the general public. He started music at the very young age of 9 by following a Percussion course at the ENM (National School of Music). Now Produce since 12 years in different style.

Since 2017, Carpet Booth has quickly become the destination recording studio in the greater Rochester, MN area. After working with artists and genres of all different kinds, we thought it was time to take our expertise and passion for producing top quality audio to a broader scene of artists. I'm a 4x Grammy nominated, multi-platinum bilingual songwriter living in LA. I've written singles for Alesso, Snoop Dogg, JLo, Illenium, Anitta, Bryce Vine, Becky G, Ally Brooke, Inna, etc. I've accumulated over 4 Billion streams and radio airplay. I've also had my voice featured on 3 Alesso releases "One Last Time," "Progresso," and "Time."

Producer, mixer, musician and songwriter in the multi million streaming band Selma & Gustaf. I’m on board any project/inquiry as long as it’s about music or eating cheescake.
