Mike McDonough is a freelance recording engineer and mixer located Kansas City, MO, USA. Professionally trained with a degree earned in Recording Arts, Mike has years of experience in audio production and as a working musician. Your music is what matters, and Mike makes sure your music is presented in the best light possible.

I have been engineering Hip Hop and R&B for 5 years then I started mixing other genres. I have recently been added to the small few engineers that work out of Compact Audio owned by Eddie Fisher.

With over a decade of experience recording and mixing music, I have built full analog studios as well as worked with great results in compact digital studios. I love working with stems and creating three dimensional, rich sounding mixes that bring songs to life. I also work as a session accordion player, pianist, guitarist and mandolin player.

I specialise in helping novice solo singer/songwriters and duos get their songs sounding bigger, better and radio quality. I play many instruments well and am an experienced arranger so can help you take you simple song idea to a higher level. Can also work with you remotely.

Vroom Collective is a collective of musicians that do all sort of jobs from arrangement - to live recordings. On average we have around 25 years of experience in the music industry and have worked on numerous projects, from Country albums to Kid' voiceovers. We work in our own studio based in Zagreb Croatia- and are mainly focused on session rec.
