I started my career touring as a drummer with my band, Thursday, which has sold almost 2 million records. I was also the live drummer for the British boy band, The Wanted and have done just about every TV show with them i.e. Ellen, Dancing With the Stars (twice), The Voice, American Idol etc. I have a large collection of amazing snares and kits.
I am an artist, I understand the process along with the technical side. Work with me and trust me and we will get the music you hear inside your head out right and delivered to the public.
When mixing records, I provide that “larger than life” feel without losing the real band element. I love big drums (not sound replaced drums) singing in a room with loud guitars. When producing and/or writing I bring melody and emotion out without sounding trite and typical. In my opinion, there’s no formula for radio, just a killer song.
