Jelena Soro is an oboist, vocalist, composer and arranger. Berklee College of Music Class of 2021, dual major in Bass Performance and Jazz Composition I have been playing electric and upright bass for 13 years and have experience playing all styles of music. I have very strong sight reading abilities and have been praised for my melodic and foundational bass lines.
I am a full home studio and specialize on melody, hook, writing and vocal production. Strong vibrato, sweet velvet tone, also able to belt and can rap too. I am a front man of a World Music group called Hotel Balkan, also known as Balkan Tango Vibes. I'm classically trained and able to perform a broad variety of styles. My NYC experience brought me closer to Tango, Balkan Gypsy Punk, and chamber music. I own a home studio with all the possibilities we'll need to come up with a high quality product.
My first love is Music & the Universe inspires my Innerverse. From R&B to Reggae & Afropop to Soul, it's the positive message of the stories I sing that keep my work fresh.
