My name is Jose Santiago and I go by Da Kid. I am a recording and mixing engineer out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended Five Towns College in 2004-2008 where I studied Business Management/Audio Recording Technology. In 2011 I attended the Institute of Audio Research where I studied Audio Recording Techniques and Audio Post Production.
Organic is the key in the era of digital music consumption. I use mostly analogue effects and outboard to get that "real" sound and also a little bit of digital processing for the modern edge.
Im a recent graduate of Los Angeles Film School's Music Production program Cum Laude and I am available for hire to do mixing or mastering or both as well as i can add effects to your pre-recorded vocals etc. I do have my own personal studio at home with all the bells and whistles.
