I'm a composer and music producer running my own studio in Johannesburg, South Africa. If you are looking for someone who can take your music from idea to complete I'm your guy. My engineering has been heard on NPR, BBC, PBS, CBC, etc. I've produced and recorded in world-class studios including Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, as well as in all manner of farmhouse, factory, van, bus, and yurt. I specialize in guitar, bass, and drums, but have a large collection of instruments to create soundscapes and lock in grooves.
Finding that groove and giving your song that one flavor it needs. Every artist should have their vision realized and I get into the artist's brain when listening to a song I'm working and find that guitar element you are looking for.
Drawing from a wide and diverse spectrum of influences, I blend steady, disco-infused grooves with a plethora of both live and electronic instrumentation including ambient synthesisers, pulsing electric piano and layered vocal stacks to create my own brand of sunny bedroom pop, designed to be both minimalistic and euphoric in equal measure.
I specialize in thick drum sounds, growling bass lines and unique grooves, often with an oldschool analog vibe.
