Growing up in a family associated with music, the groove was in my blood. I began singing in the church choir at 6 yrs. old started playing bass at 10, and have participated as a vocalist and an instrumentalist in competition ensembles for the past 4 years. Music is all about groove and time, and the good Lord blessed me with both.

Hi there, my name is Nicolas Michaux. I'm a singer-songwriter, music producer and mixing engineer. Born and bred in Belgium I now divide my time between Brussels, where I work at The Free House studios, and the Danish island of Samsø, where I take care of my daughters and work on music.

Indie folk music is about intimacy, emotion, warmth, and vibe. I prioritize those characteristics in my mixes. I am an artist myself, so I very much understand what it's like looking for someone to take care of your song. My own entirely self-produced and mixed musical project has garnered over 500,000 streams across all platforms.

THOM is a multi instrumentalist and has produced / co produced many artists including STAY GLDN, Laurent John, Dr Meaker, Chris Dececio, Brett Aland, Andrea Obeid, Leylines, XOXO, DDark, Krucial, George Montague to name a few.
