With experience as an engineer and production assistant at studios including Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios and Jackson Browne's Groove Masters I am excited to open my doors to SoundBetter. I've worked with numerous clients like Charlie Burg, Mira Housey, and Emma Charles. My goal is to make your songs sound like you hear them in your head.
This is my first foray into music production after 5 years of playing in a funk rock band. I'm looking to implement what I've learned from all the wonderful artists that I've had a chance of working with. I'd love to create ambient/orchestral soundscapes that blend well with mediums like cinema and video games.
Aza Rae (little cousin of Motown legend Ollie Ali Woodson - of The Temptations) is a breath of fresh air to todays music industry; bringing a NEW analog feel to a digital era! Her creative focus is infusing her love for people into music, so that listeners may truly feel the honest intent placed into every song.
What you're hearing right now is a 100% analog beat, created on the Vermona DRM1 MK4 – no presets, no digital instruments, just pure, unique sound. Every groove is custom-made, whether it's 4/4, 3/4, or 5/4 – nothing repeats, everything is one of a kind.
