When you want your songs to stand out from the rest, I have the best ears for the job. My specialty is thinking outside of the box, while still creating palatable and infectious grooves. I produce, record, and mix artists such as CAMDEN and Jordan Tyler Poole. I also have years of touring experience with artists like Krigare and Arlie.

Tokikazu Uema owe's his hip-hop influenced sound to his experiences growing up in Koza, Okinawa, an area near many American military bases which populate Japan's southern most island prefecture.

What makes me unique as an artist is a way I hear music and how it literally sounds in my head, the way my brain understands it and how my heart feels it. From here it just comes naturally: the lyrics, the concept, and the story. I write about a lot of things, but all of them involve some kind of feelings that I experienced.

I have moved beyond just recording sound in high definition to capturing the emotions and energies in the room during production. I have recently worked with legendary 80's/90's singer, Daniel Wilson, to recreate over 11 of his old records, & a project for UN. I do well in creative directing, A&R, production and engineering (both studio and live).

I am passionate about giving each track the individual attention + approach it needs to achieve that 'magic'. I take a creative + technical approach to produce high quality digital masters. My work has been championed by BBC 6's Tom Robinson, The Line of Best Fit, Mahogany, Earmilk and amassed over 90,000 plays on Spotify.
