Howdy, I'm Russ. A producer, writer, composer and instrumentalist based in Los Angeles making Pop, Indie Pop, RnB, Alt Rock, Singer-Songwriter and Film/Media music. I have 12+ years working as a touring and recording musician and a catalogue that includes a Platinum single, >120m streams and placements on HBO, Netflix, ABC, NBC, FOX, and more.

The technical side of sound production and reproduction fascinates me, but I listen to music emotionally first, only later technically. Listening to the song, I feel the emotions that the song communicates and then I emphasize and transfer them with technical processing to the final master.

My music is about ideas and emotions. "The Green Man (TGM)" is my alias, inspired by an ancient figure reminding you not to forget your inner voice (and music by Shut Up & Dance). I love to make music for and with pictures. My music was used for by Arte, BBC, CSI Miami and filmmaker Jan Bonny. As Heiner Kruse I write books, explore tools and teach.
