Hello, I'm James. Audio Engineer, Sound designer and Producer. i've been active within music for about 10 years starting out as a live technician for a sound system in Manchester , UK. this then lead me to then study music at the Manchester College, where i learnt most of my foundations.

I’ve worked in the industry for over a decade, working with some of the industries top professionals, recording, producing and mixing a wide variety of genres. Credits: Helmet, Denny Seiwell Trio, The Wild Reeds, Spanish Love Songs, Lizzo, Melanie Martinez, Hayley Kiyoko and many others.

Fluent in electric/acoustic/bass guitar, ukelele, piano, synthesizer, vocals, drums and percussion. Can play the cello to a lesser extent. Ableton / Logic Pro X.

I'm a producer/songwriter specialized in I guess what would be called "left-field" dance, hiphop and pop, but I also do more commercial work if desired. Past collaborators include Steve Angello of Swedish House Maffia (EDM), Hayley Kiyoko (Pop) and Pell (Hiphop). I will write tracks, produce, mix and topline (no lyrics) in any desired combination.

With five albums posted to all stores under Kiyoshimon, I specialize in all sorts of genres from classical to electronic to trap and even rock. In 2019, I was in one of 16 bands invited to the National Concert Band festival in Indianapolis, Indiana.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, and performer. I've written and recorded on tracks such as Haley Kiyoko’s hit “Sleepover," and Yuna's "Kiss the Moon." I've also worked with artists such as Baths, Robin Hannibal (Rhye), Yore, and Kevin Olusola (Pentatonix) in my work as a violinist and string arranger.
