I was the main engineer at Studio I-95 in West Haven, CT for 3 years where I produced tracks, mixed songs, mastered songs, and done remixes for hundreds of people. I now work independently at home in Stone Mountain, GA. I produce, mix, and master all genres and I also write songs.
My name is Stefan Palen, I am a composer/arranger/trombonist/keyboardist located in teh DMV. I'm here to make legacy music. Often compared to Sade's style, I write & sing in French, English and Spanish. I am a Musician's Institute Alumni (March 2018, Los Angeles) and have recently completed a Bachelors in Sound Design (June 2018m MIU, IA). I've travelled through the pop world, moved into dance culture, and eventually landed in more experimental territory, now trying to tie it all together. I mostly compose using hardware gear, record to tape, and then edit and mix in the computer. Finding the right process is the most important part of the work for me.
