I have worked on lots of indie-rock records. I like the natural approach and I spend a lot of time working on the real sound from the tracking stage, using different microphone techniques and way of playing. I love to experiment. Hoboken HiFi is owned by dub producer Jim the Boss. Jim believes in giving everyone a unique and organic sound. He has risen in reggae communities as creator, along side his studio band, of the Hudson Soul sound which is a dry, crisp sound reminiscent of 1970s Channel One era reggae music.We also record Jazz, Soul, Blues, Latin, Calypso and Folk.
