Alex Rocha is a session upright and electric bass player based in Rio de Janeiro. He got a Latin Grammy Award for his contribution on singer Emílio Santiago's live CD "Só Danço Samba ao vivo" , winner on 2012. Alex can play in many styles like Bossa Nova, Latin, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Samba, R'n'B, Rock, Funk, and many more.

Singing is a passion, music is my life. After studying at the Lisbon Conservatory, I sang in wedding ceremonies and opera events. But I fell in love with other music styles and fronted multi-genre cover bands and big bands performing at events, galas, TV shows. I also toured as back-vocals for famous artists with concerts as big as 30,000.

Music recently placed with the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and ESPN. Working with Grammy winning record company Fire Hazard Productions as a writer and producer. Cosigned by Grammy award winning producer "Illmind" and Grammy award winning producer Krucial. I opened for Sam Hunt.

I will create orchestral music for your video game, film, documentary or other media, music that will give your project the epic edge that transforms the experience into an unforgettable one. I have composed over 10 hours of music, worked with game dev teams and I won first place in Romania at the classical Music Composition Contest "Maurice Ravel"
