My name is Nicky Orta. I've toured and/or recorded with various artists in the jazz and Latin pop genres. These include artists such as Julio Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Cristian Castro, Arturo Sandoval, Randy Brecker, Paquito D'Rivera, Sammy Figueroa, Othello Molineaux, and many others.

GRAMMY-nominated pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestrator. Member of Paquito D'Rivera's band for 12 years. Has performed on and contributed compositions and arrangements to multiple GRAMMY award-winning and nominated albums.

I'm a professional performer and recording violinist with over 25 years of experience in NYC. I recorded, toured, and performed with artist such as Doc Severinsen, Paquito D'Rivera, Lincoln Center Jazz Orch., and many more. I've been recording professionally in my studio for over 10 years and I've done recording for Grammy winner albums and films.

Six time Grammy-award winning bassist and educator, famous to have been the bassist of Paquito D'Rivera Quintet for over twenty years and a reputed professor at the Berklee College of Music.

I'm an award winning pianist and composer originally from Venezuela. I have played on over 60 recordings, including a Grammy Award winning album and several other nominated albums. I have produced 15 records under my own name, including an NAACP Image Awards winning album.
