Hi, I'm Alex, a mix engineer based in Orlando, FL specializing in modern rock and metal. I am known for my work with Heavy//Hitter, Six Steps Forward, Lost Trees, Vouloir, and Deadweather. I recently graduated from MTSU Summa Cum Laude with a 3.977 GPA. I majored in Audio Production and minored in Entertainment Technology. I have experience audio engineering (2yrs), recording music (1.5yrs), working in studios (1.5yrs), and running live sound (1mo), producing electronic music & hip-hop (16mo over 2.5yrs), and DJing (3yrs).

Groove is the most important part of a song. When I was coming up in bands I had the privilege of playing with Blake Mills and Matt Malley (Counting Crows) on sessions. I also learned a lot from the legendary Chris Currell of Michael Jackson. In production and drumming, I attempt to honor those great players and the grooves they create.
