Hello! I am a producer and multi-instrumentalist who has collaborated with former and current members of The Sun Ra Arkestra, The War on Drugs, Sylvan Esso, St. Vincent, and Psychic Temple among others. I studied Performance and Composition at Berklee College of Music, ethnomusicology at Columbia and Duke.
I play a collection of unique instruments. My drums are 1963 Rogers Holiday. My guitar collection includes acoustics, electrics, 12 strings, and pawnshop oddballs from who knows where. My bass is from Transylvania (seriously). My piano is a 1909 Steinway Model K. My focus lately is my custom built electric zither from Polyphonic Workshop.
I've not only participated, but avidly observed music being made in its most adept and mysterious ways. I aim to capture what the audience wants to hear. In the music I write/produce, I aim for a certain sensation, feeling, thought, or image to instill on the listener. I've dedicated myself to my trade and I'm always willing to learn more.
I'm here to record and fit your songs and tunes with musicality, feeling and the best energy it will need. My experience with so many eclectic artists and different kind of music along the years will give you the opportunity to get something unique, organic and adapted to your requests, simple or not, the goal is to make it sound!
