Welcome to 1979 is an analog-centric studio in Nashville, Tennessee. With 7,000 square feet of space, all your needs from pre-production, to tracking, to mixing, to mastering (and vinyl cutting/electroplating) are housed under one roof.

Grammy Award Winning Engineer w/ expertise in studio recording, mixing, live multitrack audio capture, and post audio mixing for television. I have worked with hundreds of artists & clients, from Mumford & Sons to Mastodon, to create unique releases showcasing studio craft, intimate live performances and full blown concert productions.
I have received a B.S. Degree in Audio Engineering & Music from Mercy College. I have worked and collaborated with many artists through the years, either recording them or playing as a session musician upon artists tracks.
