I'm Chris Strange, a.k.a. MISTERSTRANGE - a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer who combines hip-hop, electronic, and low-fi styles into his unique performance and songwriting style.

Danielle Lara has been involved in music since the age of three and has a background in classical and pop music. She trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. She can turnaround a song efficiently to cater to your needs in most genres (please specify on contacting) and is also available as a session violinist.

Picture the voice of Asher Roth, the style of Rod Stewart, an apartment full of late 2000's records, and a studio setup in the loft. My favorite storytellers are Drake, Blackbear, and Kid Cudi. Years ago I became fascinated with analog synthesizers once I discovered 80's pop music. Using Ableton Suite, my specialties are LoFi HipHop & Synthwave Pop

Our ears get excited when we hear something we know doesn’t fit the mould. While producing our tracks we combine wider musical influences to create more original sounds and follow our ideas wherever they might take us. This may result in an EDM record, a film score or pop music with the grit and the authenticity of hip hop and soul.

I starting my engineering career in Nashville in 1984 strictly in analog tape. After a brief absence from music I’m back with new skills and the ability to take dull mixes and turn them into Grammy award winning masters.

Epistemic Audio (df. = of or relating to knowledge of audio) describes my approach to mixing: listen carefully, know the track's goal, and make every mix decision to achieve that goal. This allows me to treat each project fresh: no templates or presets, just ears and knobs.
