hello, My name is Gidon Ricardo. I am a music producer. I have been doing this for 25 years and going. Right now (27 February 2016) I am based in Israel, soon to move to NYC starting June 2016.
I've been writing and recording my own music for over 10 years, with an increasing emphasis on electronic music production, whilst having a solid foundation in rock and metal. I’ve decided to throw my hat in the ring so to speak and offer some online audio services.
As not only an engineer but a musician as well, I put the utmost care and thoughtfulness within my work. I felt very seen when Andrew Marlin, mandolinist from Watchouse, said, fingers and voice trembling as he held his mandolin: "the world is more than bluegrass." I used to practice playing faster and faster ... and I felt completely empty. So I am exactly the wrong guy if you are seeking lightning fast licks, etc. My approach is different.
