A good sounding mix requires well crafted editing. Most of the home recordings I hear can be great performances but they don't always get the right treatment before getting mixed. I will fine tune your vocals and recorded instruments, make them mix ready to get the best results from your project.
Groove is the most important part of a song. When I was coming up in bands I had the privilege of playing with Blake Mills and Matt Malley (Counting Crows) on sessions. I also learned a lot from the legendary Chris Currell of Michael Jackson. In production and drumming, I attempt to honor those great players and the grooves they create.
I am experienced in recording, editing, mixing, and mastering music, with a focus on classical/acoustic music. I've worked with artists such as the Boston Symphony, Yo-Yo Ma, and Gil Shaham, and with organizations such as New England Conservatory and the Aspen Music Festival.
