Hi, I'm CHYLD, a 27-year-old music producer from Boston, MA. I've been producing electronic/hip-hop, etc. music, both for myself and others, for over 5 years now, while networking and getting experience in the industry with my solo artist project.
I've peaked #32 in the top 50 USA Spotify charts, have been featured in several Spotify Editorial playlists (i.e. Metropolis, Hot New Dance, Friday Cratediggers, Indie Dance + more., and have played live shows with the likes of Walé, Goldfish, Greyson Chance, Elephante, Crywolf, Stayloose, Party Nails and more.

Endorse CHYLDCHYLD is an amazing producer/artist. Throw any idea at him and he can bring it to life. I went to him with more of a country sound knowing that he hadn’t had as much experience in that genre and he still made it happen. Every song comes out perfect!
CHYLD is a great artist, he perfectly understood my vision on my project and did a great job!
Interview with CHYLD
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I don't just press play.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Tyler, The Creator. He's such a hard worker, a creative mind, and makes sure everything he produces is put out exactly the way he envisions it.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to meet with a client first to discuss goals and ideas. If we're recording a demo, I typically can record a live session depending on the instrumentation, and if the client want's full production, I would include the demo recording, so we have an idea of where we want the song to go.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically produce music for a lot of rappers, and singer-songwriters.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less reverb.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My strongest skills are in electronic production and hip-hop/trap beats, but it's a nice switch to work on some acoustic stuff!
