Yoko Ono, Peter Buck (REM), Robyn Hitchcock, Mike Harrison (Spooky Tooth), Wayne County, Roger Daltrey, Neil Innes, Julee Cruise & others have worked with me in the studio and on stage. I own rare vintage keyboards & drum machines. Also ambient music film, scores & TV ad music.
Born 1950-1-1 in London. Now in my 54th year as a pro musician, I cover a lot of areas of music. Mostly known for rock (Mott and Queen) I also have played ambient with Yoko, soul with Mike Harrison, punk with Wayne County and parody with Neil Innes (of Rutles fame). My home studio in Tokyo is based around a Logic Pro X system and covers a variety of vintage keys as well as state-of-the-art software like Kontakt. I am well used to remote projects - send me your stems and I'll get right to work. I have also composed film/video scores and some of the best TV ad music to be heard in Japan for major clients like Sony, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, etc. Includes some advanced Sound Design. I'm a man with a truckload of experience in the studio and on the road, and still have a healthy thirst for the cutting edge, the strange, the soulful and the warm beating heart.
