Internationally renowned and award-winning flautist whose unique contemporary improvisation ability is supported by a solid Classical training. One of only a handful slide flutists in the world, Carina produces a sound that is truly unique; in fact her flute can cry, growl, laugh, float, fly, and yes, she can totally sound like Ian Anderson!
I'm a professional flute player who has performed across the world. I am Classically trained and hold a BMUS (Hons) cum laude degree , but perform in any style and am one of only a handful "slide flute" players in the world, enabling me to bend notes and play in contemporary, pop, rock as well as native styles.
I can read any sheet music and have a unique ability to play by ear, as well as improvise in almost any genre. I have earned wide acclaim for my idiosyncratic improvisation skills and soulful interpretations, which can be heard on many professional recordings and videos across the internet.
I'm also happy to offer up to 1 minute's worth of backing vocals as part of the package. My vocals can be heard on the songs "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Shape of You" and "Fragile". I can also record on the piccolo.
I use a Blue Yeti microphone and record via GarageBand and supply recorded parts in WAV or MP3 format.

Carina is an extremely talented flute player, and musician. She played the lead flute part on an instrumental version of one of my songs and did a beautiful job on it. She was also very easy to work with and was willing work with me until we achieved the vision I had for the song.
