Interview with Portrayt
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An EV655C, a laptop and interface, a mic stand and chord, a Roland Lucina, and an inflatable boat to go back home.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the type of job, I begin with looking over and becoming familiar with the project, then break it down into smaller parts and analyze and work with each one. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Alan Parsons, Thomas Dolby, Jeff Lynne, among many others.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: In-depth Mixing & Mastering, as well as some production direction.
