MIXING:
I'm an award-winning mixing engineer (Pensado's Place Mixing Competition) with expertise in Pro Tools, I've collaborated with prominent artists around the world, including stars of The Sing-Off, The Voice, X Factor, American Idol, and producers from Pitch Perfect and Glee. I have experience in a wide array of genres, from hip-hop to folk, R&B to gospel, and rock to EDM.
VOCAL TUNING:
Through years of experience in the a cappella world I've tuned thousands of vocals, I've become an expert in Melodyne and can get you that "perfect-performance" sound while remaining completely organic. I'm quick and efficient so I'm able to charge very competitive rates.
PRODUCTION:
After producing countless dance remixes, composing scores for commercials and independently creating music for the past 10 years I’ve gained the skills to turn your basement beat into a radio ready hit. As part of the mixing process I often replace sounds that fit better sonically and have more impact and energy, but if you’d like me to take your production to the next level by adding some beef, ear candy or even a whole new drop just let me know!

Interview with Paul Henri
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on pop music and edm but I work on hip hop and rnb as well.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest point is vocals. I've been in the acappella music industry my whole career, working for some of the biggest vocal groups in the business. I've been tuning vocals and mixing vocals live and in the studio primarily for many years, and thats the strength that people usually come to me for.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always fill in the gaps, whether it needs some extra drum fills, or a vocal chop, or some more sub in the bass, I can never just mix what I'm given unless its fully complete, and sometimes I'm able to hear what the client is missing.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a small home mixing room set up. I'm using the classic yamaha hs5's with the hs8 subwoofer. I have the room fully treated with GIK acoustics. I use pro tools on a macbook pro, I have every waves plugin thats worth a damn, as well as countless others. I also have Izotope rx8 which is extremely handy in cleaning up vocals for that radio ready pristine sound.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm mainly hired to mix singles. Every so often I'm hired to produce but mainly just adding some sprinkles of production, whether its just replacing a kick or snare or adding some ear candy, or creating a whole drop from scratch, my job is to take an incomplete song and make it finished, whatever it takes and whatever my ear and gut tells me the song is lacking.

I will obsess over your song (I can't help it), as you should too! But I like to be as intentional as possible about revisions, so I have a 3 revision policy. After that its an additional $50 per 3.
