My name is Ilya Misyura, but I'm known better under moniker Dub Beans. I'm an artist, composer, sound producer, mixing and mastering engineer. I play piano from the age of four, and I've been producing music for 11 years already.
During my career I have worked with many genres of music, from acoustic pop to complex electronics. Among the artists with whom I collaborated are Jamala, Ira Gorbacheva, Pur:Pur, Gurt [O] and others.
I produce music for my own music projects Dub Beans, Astronata and Печаль Любимого Блогера. My tracks are released on labels in the UK and USA. I also released several remixes on Ivan Dorn's label Masterskaya.
I use Ableton Live for producing music and Logic Pro while working with videos and movies. Also I have experience in working with FL Studio and Cubase.
In addition to music, I was also engaged in science, software and web development. In 2015 I've got my Ph.D. in Maths.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Billie Eilish, because she’s one of the most open-minded pop artists for nowadays, and Tyler, the Creator because of his energy he puts into his music and gigs.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is making a great arrangement in shortest time possible
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a small studio with basic setup including several hardware synthesizers, Ableton Push and Akai APC Mk.2 for faster workflow. If i need some specific processing, I rent a friendly studio with impressive numbers of vintage devices and modern digital processors
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I get inspiration from different kinds of music. It may be something soulful and beautiful like Coldplay, Rudimental and Imagine Dragons, but at the same time I can be inspired by upbeat and heavy music like Chase & Status, The Prodigy etc. It’s always about a mood and my inspiration source cannot be predicted, but if I need to get inspiration for specific track production, I always listen to something similar and actual for nowadays, and it helps me to get a correct mood and put it into the track.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually I do everything concerning music production e.g. composing, arrangement, mixing and mastering, but sometimes I participate only as mixing and mastering engineer.
