Hey Everybody!

My name is Della and I'm a composer, musical producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist performer from Argentina.
I performed at several shows and tours around South America and Europe for crowds that summed up to 15,000 people. I worked in numerous discographic productions with artists from all around the globe, some of them recognized and nominated for major awards like "Best Electronic Music Record" at Premios Gardel in Argentina.
Also, I exhibited music pieces in galleries and museums in Buenos Aires, NYC, Madrid, Perth, Milan, La Habana, and Cusco.
Since 2018 I reside in Barcelona, where I'm currently releasing electronic music with #1 labels like NAAFI, Anjunadeep, Playground Records, to name a few.

Let me tell you something about Della: he is AWESOME. First of all, his style of producing was exactly what I was seeking for my song "High Like Ethereum." Secondly, he suggested a Zoom meet prior to starting the project in order to connect in real-time and get on the same page. This took some coordinating, as we're ten hours apart, and it's going the extra mile that makes him special. Super talented producer and intelligent, lovely human being. Interview with Music By Della

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have 2 studio setups. On the main one, there's a pair of Adam A7X, driven by my UAD Arrow. I use a lot of outboard gear (Thermionic Culture Vulture, Korg SDD3000, Zvex Fuzz Factory to name a few). There's also a Moog Sub37 and some other synths. At home, I tend to record vocals on my Audio Technica AT2035 and guitars with my japanese Fender Stratocaster. I monitor thorugh a pair of KRKs and my Audio Technica M-50x
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do mostly end to end productions (Composing, arranging, performing and editing, post-production, mixing and mastering), I get a lot of requests for urban beats (hip hop - trap - reggaeton) and Electronic remixes (Techno, House, Indie-Dance, Progressive, Melodic Techno, EDM, to name few). Also, I work a lot as a sound designer adding the last refreshing touches to the song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I get inspired by any kind of music. I can take something positive out of any song.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your goal with this project?
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Sing it before playing it. If you don't do this everything is gonna end up being stiff.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on extremely different genres all the time. I like to get involved in as many diverse projects as I can.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am extremely passionate about what I do, and that's the only skill I think you have to have to create a beautiful piece of art.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can deliver what the client has in mind presented on it's best shape to be received by the intended audience.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to hear what the client has in mind. I like to receive the demo and a playlist with references (Style, mood, rhythm, to name a few). Then I proceed to create a musical piece based on what we previously discussed. I send a sample to the client to check if the direction is indeed what he had in mind. If we're good to go, I give the final touches and send the final version of the production. If I'm also mixing and mastering the song the process is similar in terms of sending a sample and delivering the final version.
