Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Apollo twin,shure sm7b, guitar, bourbon, bed
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Judgement to understand what it needs. i can save badly recorded drums and give them life. That at general, in terms of instruments and vocals. I have high quality virtual instruments like Sampletank IV, Serum, Fabfilter twin duo and others; That allow me to improve Midi intrumentations.(ej: if you have a poor quality of an ¨80ts synth¨ keys, i will use it as a reference but if you send me the MIDI file of it, i will improve considerably the quality of the audio. ) My main goal is to give space and coherence to a song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Homestudio well equipped to preserve audio quality. Instruments: Pearl export 70ts, Washburn acoustic guitar and Gibson les paul custom Electric guitar.

A: Mastering a Pop song.

A: Be sure to give the engineer all the input you can about your proyect and expectations.

A: Hi fi but with a touch of dirtiness when it's needed

A: Both. This days, you can achieve excelente results working ¨in the box¨(depends of your digital tools)

A: That they have something concrete in their hands and that they compete with what sounds everywhere!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen carefully to the song to see if it has any defect in the audio. Make some edits, if the song asks for it. Start grouping types of instruments through auxiliary channels. Sometimes the drums is better to treat it in a group that putting several plugins in each part of it. But always depend of the musician and the instrument of course!
