I have 9 years of experience in music for film & TV, brands, and independent artists.
My experience as a producer encompasses music composition, arranging, recording, audio editing, mixing and mastering.
In 2018 I attended Point Blank Electronic Music School in Los Angeles, where I took the Creative Production and Audio Mastering courses.

Things I do:
1.- Create original music based on references, ideas, moodboards, etc.
2.- Record instruments/vocals/musicians in a studio environment in Mexico City.
3.- Mix and master tracks "in the box" using high-quality plugins.
4.- Copy instruments, arrangements, melodies and rhythms exactly like another track.

I usually work in Ableton Live. I use software from Native Instruments, iZotope, Waves, and Universal Audio.

Mi experiencia como productor es en composición, arreglo, grabación, edición, mezcla y masterización.
En 2018 tomé los cursos de Producción Creativa y Mastering en Point Blank Electronic Music School en Los Ángeles.

Cosas que hago:
1.- Crear música original basado en referencias, ideas, moodboards, etc.
2.- Grabar instrumentos/vocales/músicos en CDMX.
3.- Mezclar y masterizar tracks "in the box".
4.- Copiar instrumentos, arreglos, melodías y ritmos exactamente como otro track.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I don't focus on one "type" of music. I love learning about new genres and styles. Music is art, so the most important thing to me is to "light a fire" in whoever's listening. ///// No me enfoco en un "tipo" de música. Me encanta aprender sobre nuevos géneros y estilos. La música es arte, entonces lo más importante es, independientemente del género de una rola, prender una llamita en quien sea que esté escuchando.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your instinct. If it doesn't sound as good, try harder until it does. You'll get there. ///// Confía en tu instinto. Si no suena tan bien, inténtalo. Llegarás.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The first thing I do is I listen to the client and make sure I completely understand his/her needs/goals. When producing, I first sketch the most essential elements of a track (instruments, structure, character). Afterwards, I go over the track several times and add/remove layers. After I overcome this point I'm ready to deliver my work to the client. We discuss the work together, and then I go over the track again. When the client's happy with the result, I mix and master. ///// Lo primero que hago es escuchar al cliente y asegurarme de que entiendo perfectamente sus metas/necesidades. Al producir, primero hago un esquema de los elementos más esenciales del track (instrumentos, estructura, personalidad). Después, poco a poco voy agregando/quitando capas. Una vez que paso este punto ya estoy listo para entregar mi trabajo al cliente. Lo discutimos, vemos qué cambios hay por hacerle al track. Cuando el cliente está feliz con el resultado, lo mezclo y lo masterizo.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production sessions: They can be either one-on-one, in-studio; or remote sessions. Mixing & mastering sessions: In-studio or remote sessions. In-studio recording sessions (available only in Mexico City) in Chimychanga Estudio. ///// Sesiones de producción: Presenciales en el estudio (en CDMX) o de forma remota. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: · I've always admired Four Tet and the way he does so much with so little.
