I've been writing songs for over a decade, and have commissioned several songs over the years.
I can write deep love songs, sensual songs, sorrow songs, heartbreak songs, as well as upbeat power pop tunes.
My personal focus is conscious music, so if you need spiritually-centered, high-vibe lyrics, I can do that, too.
I aim to create songs that are lyrically unpredictable, cutting, fun, and fresh, but still easily accessible to the average listener. Storytelling at its best. That's my goal.
I love writing for other people's tracks, as my ability as an instrumentalist is lacking. It's fun to lend my talents to projects that would be beyond my capacity to create on my own!

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, R&B, Singer-Songwriter
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My intuition is pretty spot-on most of the time, and when it's not, my ability to take direction comes in to save the day!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Generally I'll "sit" with a song for a day or so. I'll listen to it a few times through, then I'll take it into my daily life and begin to fill in the blanks of what it needs (lyrics, melody, harmonies, whatever). After creating it in my head, I'll take it to my home studio and lay down a demo and send it to my client. Then if I missed the mark on anything, we'll go back and forth to get every moment of the song feeling good and delicious. Then it's off to the pro studio to record a final take!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on a song about strengthening the movement for climate change and environmental shift. I sang the top line and created harmonies and stacks for the song. It was an upbeat pop number with a lot of hope and power behind it! So fun!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Second album, this time with full instrumentation instead of acoustic.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: As long as you can keep communication open and thorough, we will get your creation exactly where you want it to be. Every moment, every note!

A: The feeling of the vibration of my voice as it flows through my body, and coming up with fun rhymes and lyrics to sing!

A: I began as an actress, doing musical theatre since middle school, then slowly transitioned to songwriting and playing guitar.

A: Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles, and Tori Kelly. All three of them have such unique ways of expressing, and I'd love to learn to blend my vocals with theirs--they are all so different!
