Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Depends the song and the chosen style of production
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Tristan Simone because give me freedom in experimenting: he give me many visual ideas and I love translating them into music. Gayathri Krishnan for her Carnatic influences: I love finding a way to combine different genres in a smooth way.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Play the song live before tracking, magic happens there. You will have a solid ground to build production on.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Life, motion, feelings and textures. This is what I love doing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My very first step is always having a good chat with my clients. I want to get to know their vision and expectations before even noodling on my keys. I try to get as many informations as I can (they shouldn't be expressed necessarily in music terminology) in order to avoid misunderstanding. As soon as I can visualize my target I will start to work and deliver a draft. After this step, I will make adjustments if needed and record in high quality.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I can cover a wide range of texture starting from more traditional Piano / El Piano / B3 recordings to more synth driven atmospheres using Nord Stage 4 / Moog Sub Phatty / Moog Sub seq / Moog Mavis / Roland D-50 or any synth emulation coming from Arturia
