Credited by Universal Music, BBC One TV, David Guetta, Diplo, Monstercat, Zeds Dead, Spotify Editorial Playlists, etc
My productions got supported and played at festivals and radios all over the world by big names like David Guetta, Afrojack, Diplo, Noisia, Alison Wonderland, Jauz, Zeds Dead, Excision, Flux Pavilion, Zomboy etc. but also used into the BBC One TV shows. With my self/label releases (Universal, One Love, Never Say Die, etc) I got millions of streams across the streaming platforms.
I am specialised into the whole electronic music production process (dance, dubstep, drum & bass, house, techno, hip hop and trap beats, bass music, future bass) from the first draft to the final mastering adjustment.
My own mastering process is the result of 15 years of learning and studio experience. I will make your track sound loud, clean and wide, at its best quality possible from the huge festival sound system to the cheapest bluetooth speaker, following the industry standards. Just choose a reference track and I will recreate the same balance into your track!
I work for artists, businesses and friends. The communication plays a vital role during the entire process of creation, I need to understand the core idea and the vision, and I will give life to it. I offer unlimited revisions and I constantly send updates, so we will arrive together at the final result step by step.

Very nice outcome to a difficult project! This has never been done at this level and he raised the bar in every way. The way everything comes together and keeps you guessing is pure artistry. The change in time, rhythm and style in the same song can be risky, but with his vision and talent, I’m blown away, simply put! Very easy to work with and his credits are no doubt the real deal! This is next level work!

Interview with Marco Donnarumma
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A project I've worked on I am really proud of is my own music project for sure. Thanks to my music I travel all over the world and I can't be more grateful than I am.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My clients' productions here on Soundbetter but also my personal project music, I release a song every 3 weeks :) It's going pretty well getting a lot of support from other artists of my genre.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always ask if they have any preferences in term of sound. Choosing a reference track is a good move to understand each other in an objective way.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Customers usually want to listen something I made in the genre they're asking for, if it's something I never had the chance to work with and I am sure I can do it I just tell them to check my feedbacks. I am not worried of accepting something I have never worked on in terms of genre. I am a very experienced listened first, so I always like to bush my personal boundaries.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on all kind of electronic music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am super organised and I like to have everything under control, my workflow can be methodic but at the same time I can be creative breaking the rules when needed.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring to a song my 15 years of professional music production experience, that is refreshed every day with long listening sessions. In this way I know what the actual trends are and were and I can mix these with the artist needs.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Full satisfaction, knowledge and results within deadlines :)
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Ghost Production and Mixing and Mastering
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Luca Pretolesi is one of the best mixing and mastering engineer ever. It's cool that he's on Soundbetter too!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I can't do anything else than electronic music. I work and listen to all kind of music.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I produce music for 18 years. During this path I had the change to take care of all the music production related aspects, like making sample packs, presets, sound design, mix and master etc. I also have some skills in promotion and music business.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Obviously my dream collab would be with Skrillex, he never miss a hit and he's so unique!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I do my best to start working on a track from scratch already having in mind what I wanna get and how. The idea has to be clear and effective since the very beginning of the session.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A mixture of them. Analog is warmer and musical but digital is limitless.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you have a clear and precise idea of what you need, it will be a pleasure to work together. I used to work with reference track for my clients, but I can also involve my own ideas if you want to.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I can be fire, I can be water :)
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The main idea is the most important thing when producing a song, so make sure you have an effective and clear idea and lay it down very fast. Skills are useless if you are not saying anything new with your music.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like to make music. Even if I have to work on something I don't like, it's a good chance to learn something new and to wider my horizons.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Other than myths, laptop and headphones are enough :)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Skrillex is a very talented producer, he brought an underground genre of music to be mainstream, and now he cover a very wide range of genres, keeping his identity. That's the answer.
